Kick Whispers is an unofficial companion extension for Kick and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Kick.

Data We Collect
- Kick account identity from OAuth (username / user ID)
- User-generated direct messages
- Conversation and app metadata needed for core functionality (including block settings and anti-abuse counters)
- Billing metadata for paid subscriptions (Stripe customer / subscription identifiers), if billing is enabled

How We Use Data
- Deliver private messaging features
- Store and sync conversation history
- Prevent abuse and spam, enforce safety controls
- Maintain account and session integrity
- Manage subscription and billing status for Pro features

Data Sharing
- We do not sell personal data
- Data may be processed by required infrastructure providers (e.g., Firebase, Stripe)
- If AI moderation is enabled, message text may be sent to the configured moderation provider for safety classification
- Data may be disclosed when legally required

Data Retention
- Messages retained until deleted by user or removed by moderation or security policy
- Technical logs and anti-abuse counters retained for limited operational periods
- Billing metadata retained as needed for active accounts and legal or accounting obligations

User Controls
- Disconnect / logout at any time
- Delete individual conversations
- Block or unblock users
- Manage billing in the Stripe portal (if enabled)

Security
- Data transmitted over secure channels in production
- Secrets and credentials are not bundled in the extension package
